I am so glad that you have chosen to join me in this journey of praying
for our sons. I hope that our sons are
ready…the prayers of mothers in the hands of an all-powerful God can produce
awesome results! Please know that I am
traveling with you on this journey, not leading. While I know some of you well, some of you
are strangers to me. Please feel free to
email or message me if you have any questions or if you have specific prayer
requests for your sons.
Throughout these days of prayer for our sons, I hope you will remember
the words of the Lord spoken through the prophet Ezekiel: “It is not for your sake, people of Israel , that I
am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name…” (Ez. 36:22) I truly believe that God is going to do a mighty
work in the lives of our precious sons as a result of the many prayers lifted
up to the throne of Heaven on their behalf.
However, “Not to us, Lord,
not to us but to your name be the
glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” (Ps. 115:1)
Now…to the Prayers for Day One…
The most foundational thing we can ask God for in the lives of our sons
is heart change. To that end, this time
of concentrated prayer for our sons, our warriors, must begin with praying for
heart change.
Luke 6:45 says, “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart
produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart
his mouth speaks.”
Commit to praying the following prayers for your sons or grandsons today.
